James Foadi's personal web page

I have been a research student, research fellow and visiting fellow at theUniversity of York (UK), departments of Physics andChemistry. For these departments I have also done substantial teaching, mainly in relation to Mathematics, Mathematical Physics and Physical Chemistry. I have also spent some time as a postdoc in Chris Gilmore's group at the University of Glasgow. I have a Physics degree from the Department of Physics at the Universita' degli Studi di Torino (Italy). My final year project focused on Bell's inequalities and the Foundations of Physics; my supervisor during the exciting years I investigated the subject was the late (and very much esteemed) Franco Selleri. After 8 fruitful years as an Imperial College research associate, working for the Membrane Protein Laboratory (MPL), I have been a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) at the Diamond synchrotron in Oxfordshire for approximately two years. I am currently a lecturer at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Bath.
